Godzilla vs... "My Favorite Monsters"

For over 70 years, Godzilla has battled a lot of giant monsters and destroyed many cities. A normal day for him is: Enter, wreck stuff, break monsters in half, exit stage left. Sure he’s destructive and will stomp on innocent townspeople but we still love him dearly. Like every movie star he has to share the stage with some equal or less talented characters. 

We remember the big moth or the three headed monster and even the metal Godzilla but what were they names? Below is a list of my favorite foes and allies of Godzilla. 

Varan
 Appearances: Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla: Final Wars

Varan is sort of a cool. He’s a big iguana with fangs and webbed limbs that can fly

Jet Jaguar 
 Appearances: Godzilla vs. Megalon

No not Ultraman...Jet Jaguar

Rodan 
 Appearances: Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster, Invasion of Astro Monster, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, Godzilla: Final Wars


Rodan is the giant pterodactyl-like beast that is sometimes friend and sometimes foe of Godzilla.

Hedorah 
 Appearances: Godzilla vs. Hedorah, Godzilla: Final Wars

Hedorah is also known as “the smog monster,” and looks a living pile of  toxic waste. A foe to Godzilla and Green Peace as well.

Mothra 
 Appearances: Godzilla vs. Mothra, Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster, Ebirah, Horror of the Deep, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla vs. Mothra: The Battle for Earth, Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack and Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.
